To determine if the amount of lace is enough to be placed around the tablecloth, we determine the circumference of the tablecloth through the equation,
      C = 2πr

where C is circumference,
        r is the radius

Substituting the known values,
    C = 2π(3 ft) = 18.85 ft

Hence, the 15 ft lace will not be enough for the tablecloth.
