What we are doing in this exercise is replacing the direct object with a direct object pronoun. We must remember that the <u>direct object is what accompanies the verb</u> and shows who the verb refers to. It is important to remember that we are not replacing the verb, but we are replacing the person or the thing to whom it is addressed. This generates that the sentence is not repetitive and is more pleasant in view of the one who reads it.
