I think it's D, the others either don't have enough punctuation or they have too much

A is wrong. The semicolon isn't in the right place. B is wrong because it also has a misplacement of a comma and a semicolon. C is wrong becuase a comma should be used in place of the semicolon. This means that D is right; it combines two statements with a semicolon and the two statements could be made into their own sentences.

Which of the following sentences is most clearly describing a symbol?
Dahasolnce [82]

Answer:

Well if it's letting you choose more than one answer then it would be B and D. If it's not multiple choice it'll only be B.

Explanation:

Reasoning for B is because when a death occurs in a movie it plays some sort of sad distant music representing an unfortunate moment in the scene. D would be another symbol because he is the man who represents america. Wearing the colors of the flag his nickname has been "Big Blue" or even The man of Tomorrow.

What change is needed to form a complete sentence?
Elodia [21]

Answer:

b) No changes need to be made.

Explanation:

A complete sentence is a sentence that begins with a capital letter, ends with a mark, namely, a period, a question mark or an exclamation point, contains at least a subject and a verb and expresses a complete idea on its own.

So, "No one but Marella was in the car when the accident occurred" is a complete sentence because it begins with a capital letter, ends with a period, has a subject: "No one but Marella", a verb: "was" and complements, and it expresses a complete thought or idea on its own, meaning that it is not missing any word or phrase. Therefore, no changes need to be made in this sentence.
