Well, this revolution had changed the balance of power during World War I because the war itself had created a way of a revolution within Russia. It was primarily caused by Czar Nicholas the Second when he had used his political powers to forcefully take over Russia.

Answer:

The Russian Revolution altered the balance of forces or powers that were involved in World War 1, but didn’t give Germany any lasting advantage because Germany still ended up losing the war.

Explanation:

The Russian revolution altered the balance of power during World War 1 by changing the way Germany used its troops: the Russian Revolution put a halt to the war around the eastern front where Russia was fighting with Germany, thereby allowing Germany to make use of its troops and concentrate its war efforts on the western front where it was fighting both France and Britain. Because of the Russian Revolution and the treaty between the Bolsheviks Party (Russia) and Germany, the eastern front of the war was no longer a cause of concern for Germany because it no longer existed. This enabled Germany to take its troops from the eastern front to the western front; however, they met a stronger resistance on the western front because America started getting involved in the war at the western front, thereby causing Germany to fail and lose the war at the end.
