Answer:

Three Gorges Dam or Hydroelectric Dam is the world's second largest dam and dam hydroelectric power station, built on the Yangtze River, China's largest, and the world's largest hydroelectric power plant, with 98.8 million megawatts in 2014. The work of the Three Gorges has the functions of flood prevention, power generation and facilitating river transport.

Yangtze, Chang Jiang (长江), or Blue River, is the largest river in all of Asia and the third longest river in the world (behind only the Amazon and Nile rivers), flowing for 6,300 km from the Tibetan highlands to the East China Sea, north of Shanghai city. The Yangtze River is considered by many to be the cradle of Chinese civilization and has been used for millennia for irrigation, transportation, sanitation and war strategies.

Today, 20% of China's gross domestic product (GDP) is produced in the Yangze Delta area. An old popular saying goes, "If you didn't travel to Chang Jiang (Yangtze), you weren't anywhere," because the river passes through many Chinese landscapes, spanning no less than 10 provinces, including Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan. , Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Shanghai.

A geographic information system is a type of database containing geographic data, blended with software program tools for handling, reading, and visualizing those records.

An example of this kind of information is pc information amassed by satellites that show land use the place of farms, towns, and forests. remote sensing provides every other device that may be incorporated into a GIS.
