Answer:

Bicycle=178, Tricycles=18

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of bicycles be x and tricycles y.

we are given that the number of bicycles is 2 fewer than 10 times the number of tricycles.

So we can write x=10y-2...(i)

They also know there are 410 wheels on all the bicycles and tricycles in the store.

So we can write 2x+3y=410..(ii)

Now solve these two equations togethere

2(10y-2)+3y=410\\20y-4+3y=410\\23y=414\\y=\frac{414}{23}\\\\y=18

x=18*10-2\\x=180-2\\x=178\\

Bicycle=178, Tricycles=18

6. Find the product:<br> (x² + 8x - 3)(x + 1)
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

x^3+9x^2-3x^2-3

Step-by-step explanation:

You can use a various of methods but when you use the box method you multiply each separately.

Like you would multiply x² by x, 8x by x, -3 by x (thats the first row)

x² by 1, 8x by 1, -3 by 1 ( for the second row)

Then you get those final variables and combine like terms getting the answer above
