Theodore Roosevelt was the second child born to socialite Martha Stewart Bulloch and the philanthropist Theodore Roosevelt Sr. He was home schooled and then continued on to attend Harvard College. He became a Republican leader in the New York's state legislature where he lead a reform faction. Roosevelt also served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy under president McKinley before becoming the 26th President of the United States.
