The digestion of cattle causes methane (CH4) gas to be released into the atmosphere, this gas is released in large quantities and is extremely harmful to the atmosphere. Like carbon dioxide (CO2), the result of burning fossil fuels, methane accelerates the greenhouse effect process, which causes the temperature on the planet to increase every year.
