Pharaohs from Kush ruled Egypt for almost a century. <span>Like earlier Egyptian pharaohs, they encouraged trade between Africa and the lands around the Mediterranean Sea.</span><span>The rulers from the south encouraged an Egyptians style and culture. So eventually the kush pharaoh and the egyptian pharaohs became quite similar. </span>
