As a result of European [blank] the majority of Africa was colonized and dominated by the European countries.
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

A. Imperialism

Explanation:

European Imperialism in Africa was termed as the "<em>Scramble for Africa."</em> This was a time when majority of the countries in Africa were colonized by the Europeans. Much of their land was controlled because of having rich natural resources. The colonizers also imposed<u><em> economic policies that were unfair to the Africans.</em></u> Families were separated because of "forced labor." Men were obligated to work on the<em> mining areas and farms.</em> This left the women and children devastated. Since Europeans did not respect the traditions of the Africans, it led to the breaking up of values in the society.

valkas [14]
(c. irrigation) Water law in Texas is essentially divided into two groups namely the groundwater and surface water.  The Texas Water Code Section 11.021 states that surface water includes all of the water under ordinary flow, tides and underflow of every flowing river, bay, lake, natural stream, arm of the Gulf of Mexico, floodwater, storm water or rain water of every canyon, ravine, river, natural stream, depression, and watershed in the state. In a year, Texans use almost 7 million acre feet and about 35% of this surface water use is for irrigation. Since its their one way to modify water resources.
