What were some major causes of the industrial revolution

History

The Industrial Revolution started in the late 1700s and was the boom of industries and economic power. Many industries were made and new items were being produced.

One of the main causes of the Industrial Revolution was transportation. People were so used to transporting goods and items on foot or by horse, that when trains and cars were being made, many new things were being transported. This made it easier for industries to make money and get even bigger, as making goods for around the country and miles away became important and more common.

Another cause for the Industrial Revolution was the amount of coal and other minerals that were being mined to keep the industries going. Many people during this time, worked as miners. This meant that a lot of coal, iron, and other minerals that were essential to these large industries to keep producing were vital. Coal was also needed for trains and other transportation vehicles, which as I stated above, helped the boom of the Industrial Revolution. Being a coal miner was actually quite common during this time and many people took it as a job.

Although there are many causes of the Industrial Revolution, this will be the last one I talk about. Inventions were very important to kick off the Industrial Revolution. Although inventions like automobiles and steam engines were very important, other things were too. The cotton gin, made separating cotton from seeds very easy, which made cotton very common to make wealth out of. Things like sewing machines, engines, cables, telephones, and other goods, not only made industrialization easier, but now these were new things that were being produced in factories that could sell and made the Industrial Revolution even more important.

When did modern humans, or Homo sapiens firs appear
vitfil [10]
The current thinking is around 200,000 years ago, but I would argue against this by saying that humans had not yet developed the same mental capacity that we have today, as some cognitive ability would have been needed in making art, which of course seems to have appeared around 70,000 years ago in its geometric form, where as the figurative animal paintings and carvings came to be around 40-35 thousand years ago. So, humans were physically definitely modern around 200ka, but mentally, this is unlikely. It is of course possible to argue that behavioural changes need not to be dictated by physiological or cognitive changes. Art could just be an invention

In what two ways did the Crusades contribute to the spread of Renaissance ideas throughout Europe
Anton [14]

Answer:

The Crusades were initiated by the Catholic Church in order to gain control of Jerusalem again, as it has fallen into the hands of the Muslims. While the Catholic Church had its goals in conquering Jerusalem, including wealth and power, it didn't foresee that the organizing of the Crusades it's going to actually backfire on it and make the biggest blow to it.

The Crusades themselves had mixed outcomes, sometimes winning, sometimes losing. What had a much greater effect was that the Crusaders managed to bring in Europe a lot of things from Asia which turned out to change the course of history.

Because the Crusaders were in constant contact with the Muslims, they brought in numerous technological advancements in Europe. Also, through them, some of the ancient literature from Greece and Rome came back to Europe.

This prompted a huge interest among the people, especially the ones higher in the hierarchy, as they saw the potential of the new technology, but also the potential for the future based on the ancient literature. The end result was a technological boom in Europe, a loss of power by the Catholic Church, the Age of Discoveries, or all put in one, the Renaissance.
