What are some differences between hearing a story from a person who experienced the event and hearing it from someone else? Use
Alja [10]
Well this is a question that you should answer, but I guess I'll share mine lol.
It is different hearing a story from a person that had experience it and someone else telling it.
My science teacher's grandma is a holocaust survivor. She told us when and how she escaped a camp and she had artifacts. Her tone of voice changed depending if the parts were emotional or not. So many details she explained during every part. Very sad and blessful that she escaped.
However, when my science teacher said it, it sounded different. Not many details and since she really wasn't there; we can imagine if she was there but for me it doesn't work that way lol. <span />

Help me
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

Me: Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, honourable dignitaries, your majesties, and you, too, Don, for having me here today.

Trudeau: He’s not here, yet, Adrian. He’s holding a press conference to talk about how well his invasion of Greenland is going.

Me: Is the US invading Greenland?

Trudeau: No, but don’t say anything if you meet him. We’re letting him believe that for the time being. He may start a real war otherwise.

Me: I see. Let’s continue without him then, shall we?

Macron: We ‘ave been doing that for three years now.

Me: I would like to address the potential benefits, economic, social and environmental, of the adjustment of our respective economies to a more cooperative model in these trying times. Historically cooperatives have outperformed traditional corporations in difficult economic times due to the strength of the democratic formations they incorporate into their business structures. They are based on equality and shared values that lead to long term employment…

Trump (Bursting into the room) Okay! I’m here! Let’s get started. Who’s talking after me?

(The other world leaders share a group facepalm.)

Me: Your press conference is over?

Trump: Yeah! We’ll soon liberate Greenland and it will be the freest country in Africa!

Me: So then it’s the next person’s turn to talk, is that not what you just said?

Trump: I take no responsibility for what I said.

Me: I’ve heard that.

In Silas Marner What are your decisions on the following character? Is he a strong or weak character? What are his primary chara
Alexxandr [17]
Godfrey Cass is the eldest son of Squire Cass and older brother of Dunstan. Despite being born and raised in a good family, he was depicted as a man who makes terrible choices. Throughout the novel, he is seen making wrong decisions for himself and for others. He married a lowly woman, had a child with her and kept both his wife and daughter a secret from his father and the whole town of Raveloe. He allowed himself to be manipulated and pushed around by character after character. Godfrey is not an evil man per se. In fact, he was described early on as a fine and good natured young man, but his lack of conviction made him a weak character in the novel. Later on, he did try to make amends for some of his mistakes but he did not come to the decision on his own. He has no ability to man up and take responsibility for his actions. He wants to make right but not bad enough to sacrifice his own happiness.
