The correct answer is A) France.

The invasion you are talking about is known by several terms including: Storming of Normandy, D-Day, Operation Overlord, etc.

This event saw the largest amphibious invasion in military history. This plan was lead by US General Dwight D. Eisenhower. This was considered a turning point in World War II, as the Allied Powers were able to now liberate Europe from Nazi control. Along with this, the Allied powers freed roughly 200,000 prisoners of war in Europe.

List of us presidents and their accomplishments
morpeh [17]
There have been up until now been 45 US presidents so listing them all and their accomplishments is almost impossible. Try to focus on the most important ones historically like George Washington who liberated the US, Abraham Lincoln who freed the Slaves, Theodore Roosevelt and FDR who helped beat larger companies and implemented many social policies, Kennedy who helped with the Civil Rights Movement, and there are a few more notable ones.

Which of these was an effect of the counterculture movement in the United States? (4 points)
Ugo [173]
The counterculture in the United States was formed as a stance against conventional social norms at the time. The values imposed during this movement heavily opposed the established mainstream culture. As it lasted from 1964 to 1972, it coincided with the involvement of the United States in the Vietnam War - where counterculture immediately rejected the initial widespread support over this involvement.
