It could form an ionic bond with Fluorine or Chlorine. (There are many others that it could as well but those are the most basic)

An ionic bond is a kind of chemical bond produced via an electrostatic association between the two oppositely charged ions. Ionic bonds are produced between a cation, that is, generally a metal, and an anion, that is, generally a non-metal. A covalent bond involves a pair of electrons being shared among the atoms.

For example, consider sodium cations and chlorine anions. Sodium has a positive 1 charge and chloride has a negative 1 charge. Thus, one sodium cation cancels one chloride anion leading to the formation of NaCl.

what is the name of the triangularly shaped structures in the medulla of a kidney that contain the nephrons?
yuradex [85]

The medulla is the inner region of the parenchyma of the kidney. The medulla consists of multiple pyramidal tissue masses, called renal pyramids.

The kidney's parenchyma's interior section is called the medulla.

The renal pyramids, which are triangle-shaped structures with a dense network of nephrons within them, are a collection of several pyramidal tissue masses that make up the medulla.

The Bowman's capsule, which is shaped like a cup and is located in the cortex of the kidney, is at one end of each nephron. The glomerulus, a group of capillaries that conducts blood from the renal arteries into the nephron where plasma is filtered via the capsule, is encircled by it.

The filtered fluid exits the capsule and travels via the collecting ducts and distal convoluted tubule before exiting the body through the ureter. It then travels down the proximal convoluted tubule to the loop of Henle. The complicated management of water and ion concentrations in the body is made possible by the numerous components of the nephrons, each of which is selectively permeable to distinct molecules.

you are a molecule of carbon choose a starting point in the carbon cycle and describe the process you would go through to move t
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

The carbon cycle refers to the procedure in which the atoms of the carbon are recycled again and again on Earth. Carbon recycling occurs within the biosphere of the Earth and between the nonliving environment and living things.

In case if I were a carbon, then I would have originated from fossil fuels and left the ground, through the process of photosynthesis I would have entered the trees, I would have consumed by animals, even I would have released from some of the trees or plants that dies, I would have also released from animals by the process of decomposition after their demise, and animals can even breathe me in out by the process of respiration.

The picture represents a protein in the stomach being broken down into individual amino acids. Which is mixed with proteins to b
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer: The correct answer is Enzymes.

Process of digestion involves the breakdown of large complex molecules ( like carbohydrates, and proteins) present in the food into smaller soluble molecules ( like glucose and amino acids) that can be absorbed by bloodstream and transported to various body organs.

Protein in the stomach is broken down into amino acids with the help of enzyme called as pepsin ( a protease). It is an endo-peptidase that is produced in the stomach and helps in the digestion of proteins at acidic pH of the stomach ( 1.5 to 2).
