Answer: To find the price per pound we must divide 7.77 by 3, 7.77/3=2.59. So the price per pound for the gummy bears is 2.59$.
So look:
1) 20 cm by 20 cm by 6 cm
2) 40 cm by 30 cm by 2 cm
Hope this helps!
It took me awhile, but using the Rational Root Theorem and then synthetic division I got the first root. If you don't know the RRT you'll be in heaps of trouble doing this type of problem. I found the first root to be (x+6), then I did it again and got another root of (x+6) and the third one was (x-5). So the roots of this polynomial (and there are 3 because this is a 3rd degree polynomial) are (x+6) with a multiplicity of 2, and (x-5).
Answer:
20 times an hour so 20 times 48 is 960 1920-960 is 960 gallons so there is 960 gallons of water left
Something that is 6ft tall with an 11ft shadow is the same relation as something that is x ft tall with a 33ft shadow. You can set up a proportion and then cross-multiply to solve for x (which is the height of the tree)
