Out of the three movements, the independence of India was the one that required the least amount of fighting. India achieved its independence in a peaceful manner through the adoption of the ideas of civil disobedience. However, although the process of independence was initially peaceful and led to a straight-forward retreat of the British, its aftermath was more complicated. In the aftermath of independence, India was fragmented into India and Pakistan, with Bangladesh separating from Pakistan later on.

In the case of Latin America, there were several movements that took place at different times. However, several of this were unified thanks to the figure of Simon Bolivar. The conflicts that took place were a lot more violent than those of India. Moreover, fragmentation was also more significant, as these resulted in the creation of several new countries.

Finally, the independence of the United States took place much earlier than these other independence movements. The independence of the Thirteen Colonies was one of the earliest movements for independence to take place. However, it did not lead to the creation of a country. Instead, it led to the creation of a union or a confederacy of several separate colonies, united through some common ties and documents, such as the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation.

Leya [2.2K]

The correct answer is:

C. The spread of monotheism threatened meccas economy, which relied on the wealth of non-muslim pilgrims.

Explanation:

Muhammad (570-632 d.c) was the founder of the Islam, Muslims believe that he was God's last messenger, and that he was chosen to deliver the word of God. Muhammad's revelation occurred when he was 40 years old, and the following 13 years he faced great opposition from leaders in Mecca mainly because of his message of monotheism (one God).

Leaders in Mecca believed in many gods, and saw their power and economy threatened by Muhammad's words because his message stated equality and individual accountability to God. They feared that Muhammad could seek political power and that if people stopped worshipping their gods, the pilgrimages to Mecca that made them rich could stop too.

I think the answer is Urban Sprawl, because when that happens, trees are cut down to make room for cities/towns, and when trees are cut down there is less of a chance for wildfires.

natta225 [31]

1. People in the USSR lacked the freedom of political expression that the people of the United States possessed because of government censorship.

2. While the USSR did allow individuals to possess private property, they were limited and could not own real estate like the people of the United States.

3. People in the USSR did not have freedom of religion and the government heavily imposed Marxist–Leninist atheism on its people.
