The most likely cause of all of these symptoms is chronic rhinosinusitis. This is also commonly referred to as chronic sinusitis and is a very common condition where the nasal cavities become swollen and enlarged for at least twelve weeks even though there has been some form of treatment. This condition often interferes with drainage which can cause a buildup of mucus.
