Harper Lee's famous novel "<em>To Kill A Mockingbird</em>" tells the story of the Finches and their life in the South. the main plot of the story also deals with the case of discrimination against the black community by most of the people living in Maycomb, Alabama.

Chapter 15 of the text shows the scene where Atticus Finch along with Sheriff Tate had been guarding Tom Robinson, a black man accused of ra ping a while girl. Soon after, a group of men along with Mr. Cunningham had assembled to that spot to try to hurt Tom or intimidate Atticus. But when he saw Scout, he didn't know how to handle the situation. Scout attended the same school as his son and they were also friends. So, due to the presence of Scout in the jailhouse, Mr. Cunningham led the men away from the spot, thus saving everyone including Tom.

How is the audience related to a writer or speaker's purpose in an argument?
slega [8]

Answer:

Explanation:

The audience determines how successful your writing is. An acknowledgment that an opposing argument may be true or reasonable. In a strong argument, a concession is usually accompanied by a refutation challenging the validity of the opposing argument. Your argument has to be supported so much that you get your point across to your readers. Your audience are the ones you are trying to persuade so therefore it comes along you are trying to get them agree with you or follow in your footsteps.
