Find the midpoint of diagonal BD. Figure ABCD is shown. A is at negative 3, 2. B is at 0, 6. C is at 6, 6. D is at 3, 2.
12345 [234]
We just need the points B and D to solve this. B = (0,6) and D = (3,2).
Add the components together and average them.

midpoint(B,D) = ((0 + 3) / 2) , ((6 + 2) / 2)

= (1.5, 4)

Hopefully this is the right answer.

Arithmetic sequence help!!!!
eimsori [14]

1) This is not an arithmetic sequence because it has n².

2) To find 5 first terms of this sequence, you can simply substitute n with 1,2,3,4, and 5, and calculate values of a(1),a(2), a(3), a(4) and a(5).

a(n) = 3n²- 1

n=1 a=3*1² - 1 = 3-1=2

n=2 a=3*2² - 1 = 11

n=3 a=3*3² - 1 =26

n=4 a=3*4² - 1 = 47

n=5 a=3*5² -1 = 74

2,11,26,47,74

Answer C. 2,11,26,47,74.

Simplify this expression<br> (5p-4)^2
Klio2033 [76]

Question:

Simplify this expression

(5p-4)^2

Answer & Step-by-step explanation:

Apply Perfect Square Formula:

(a-b)^{2}=a^{2}-2ab+b^{2}

a= 5p and b=4

=(5p)^2-2*5p*4+4^2

Simplify (5p)^2-2*5p*4+4^2 :25p^2-40p+16

25p^2-40p+16 should be the answer.
