This In Expression Form Is:
3r + 4t.
The Reason Why Is Because:
When You Triple r, That Is 3r, And When You Quadruple t, It becomes 4t. And Plus Means to Add. So, This Becomes 3r + 4t
I Hope this Helps!

can anyone please help me I am struggling?? It’s 9th grade algebra 1 average rate of change comparison
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

a) 2 b) 1 c) 7/6

Function a(x) = 2x + 3 has the greatest rate of change

Step-by-step explanation:

a(x) = 2x + 3

2(-1) + 3 = 1 (-1,1)

2(2) + 3 = 7 (2,7)

\frac{7-1}{2-(-1)} = 6/3

=2

b(x) = x^2 - 1

(-1)^2 - 1 = 0 (-1, 0)

(2)^2 - 1 = 3 (2,3)

\frac{3-0}{2-(-1)} = 3/3

=1

c(x) = 2^x + 1

2^(-1) + 1 = 1.5 (-1, 1.5)

2^(2) + 1 = 5 (2,5)

\frac{5-1.5}{2-(-1)} = 3.5/3 or 7/6

=7/6
