This statement is an opinion because its subjective. some soldiers have seen or experienced terrible things which haunt their dreams and challenge their life in a way no gesture could mend. there are plenty of other soldiers who don't experience or see this though who are entitled to the same things as a gesture for their potential sacrifice.
Thea is more bound to convention than Hedda. Although she breaks with convention at leaving her husband, Thea still remains bound to the idea of a woman being subservient to a man. She simply trades the person to which she will submit. She trasfer her alligiance immediately from her husband to Lovborg, willing to do anything he might chose. In contrast, Hedda loaths the role of a housewife. This doesn't suit her at all, she was raised by her father, a general in the Army, and he taught her manly things like riding a horse and the shooting of weapons. Women, in those times, were not known to do such things. She lements to Lovborg, "Do think it quite incomprehensible that a young girl—when it can be done—without any one knowing—should be glad to have a peep, now and then, into a world which—?" Lovborg responds, "Which?" and Hedda answers, "which she is forbidden to know about". Hedda longed to know the things that men, alone, were allowed to share.
Thea was also more courageous that Hedda. She had the strength to leave her husband, even in the face of public ridicule. She show courage again when she searched for Lovborg's notes and desired to have them published. Hedda though was never truly courageous. She was driven only by her emotions and whims. When she had the opportunity to give back Lovborg's manuscript, she show herself a coward and chose, instead, to get her revenge by burning it. It would have taken real backbone to give back the manuscript, which was destined to be a best seller and cast a shadow on her husband's work, but she was not a person of courage.
It was a cold weekend morning in November when my mom came in running into my room exclaiming “Hailey, I have some exciting news for you!” “Go away mom, it's too early for this! I yelled half asleep. “Look!” she said as she held her smartphone up with two little adorable kittens on it. Then I jumped out of my bed and my my mom and I got dressed out of our pajamas got in the car and then we started driving to the shelter.
On our way there we listened to some music and the gps too. It was a lot of stress and shock for my family and I because we had just lost our other cat G-G that my mom had for many years of her life. But along with the stress shock and fear came joy and happiness. When you're woken up with your mom telling you that you're going to adopt/own an animal you are excited for what is to come.

As we walked out of the car and into the old and rusty shelter I can hear meowing from inside and barking from next door. As we walk into the shelter I can hear a screech. “Don't let the cats out!” yelled a lady wearing a plaid. So my mom signs in and I go and sit on the couch, while two cats start climbing on my arms “Mom, look at these adorable kittens!” “Hailey, you know that we can’t afford more than one cat but you have been very responsible with your brothers and homework… so Yes!” then she walked away to go see how much it was for two cats.
The second that I heard that we were getting a cat I was super happy but then when I heard that we were getting two cats I was astonished. As w edrove back to our home I could hear them meowing the whole entire time and I felt so bad for them.
