First break down the equation so it is y by nits self on the one side so add 4x to each side so 2y=4x+8 then divide each side by 3 so Y= 2x+4 the 4 is the yintercept and the 2 in front of the x is the slope so you would graph by starting at (0,6) and draw a point 2 up and 1 over and continue to rise 2 and run 1

A pack of 6 batteries of the same type cost ?2.79 . By calculating the price per battery, determine if this is better value. You m
MissTica

Answer:

The full question is attached in the picture below.

The better price for the battery is given with the 6 pack.

(£ 0.47 per battery)

Step-by-step explanation:

If 8 batteries cost £ 3.99

This means that one battery is equal to

£3.99/8 = £ 0.49875 ≈ £ 0.50 per battery

The pack of 6 batteries costs £ 2.79

This means that one battery is equal to

£2.79/6 = £ 0.465 ≈ £ 0.47 per battery

Then, we can conclude than the 6 pack gives us a better price per battery

At a jeans factory, a random quality check found 8 pairs defective and 292 pairs with no problems. how many defective pairs can
anygoal [31]
Hello!

to solve this equation, you have to find the percentage of defects out of the total amount of jeans. if there are 300 pairs of jeans with 8 faulty pairs, then the percentage of defects would be 2.666(etc). 2.666(etc) percent of 3000 is roughly 80 pairs of defective jeans.

therefore your final answer would be 80 pairs of jeans!
