Let  p   time in minutes speaking Polish
let  h   time in minutes speaking Hungarian

p  +   h   =  5    equation 1 

190 p - 150 h = 370          equation 2

multiply eq. (1) by 150 (both sides) 

15 0p + 150 h = 750 

190p -150 h = 370 

add the two eqiations we get :

190 p + 150p = 370 + 750

340 p = 1120

p= 1120/ 340 =  3.29 

3 minutes speaking Polish and 2 minutes speaking Hungarian.


make sure if the  number 370 ?? i think it is wrong , it can be 270  because i get a point in the answer
