What were the responsibilities of peasants in the feudal system?

History

Peasants grew the crops and tended the livestock. They generally rented strips of land from th elrod of the manor, and paid rent in in the form of labour on the lord's own farm (demesne). Peasants made money by selling their surplus produce. In time, this labour rent was replaced by cash rent, which was more convenient for both lord and peasant. some peasants worked as paid labor on the lord's demesne, or sometimes poor peasants with little or no land of their own worked for wealthier peasants as servants or laborers.

This type of climate receives a little more rainfall than a desert region
zhenek [66]

Answer: Semi-arid climates

Explanation: Areas with semi-arid(also known as steppe) climates are transition zones between arid climates and humid climates. They receive more precipitation than deserts, but less than more humid areas. There are different kinds of semi-arid climates, mostly dependent on the temperature, therefore they support different biomes.

Hot semi-arid climates are most commonly found around the fringes of subtropical deserts mostly in Africa, Australia and South Asia. These climates tend to have hot, sometimes extremely hot, summers and warm to cool winters, with some to minimal precipitation.

Cold semi-arid climates tend to be located in elevated portions of temperate zones, mostly on the border of a humid continental climate or a Mediterranean climate and usually some distance from large bodies of water. Cold semi-arid climates usually feature warm to hot dry summers, though not as hot as those of hot semi-arid climates. Unlike hot semi-arid climates hoever, areas with cold semi-arid climates tend to have cold winters with some snowfall. These are most commonly found in NorthAmerica and Asia.

Explain 2 ways the Southern states discriminated against black citizens.
WITCHER [35]

-Literary tests for voting. This prevented African Americans from voting, as they were refused an education.

-Separate but equal doctrine. After the 14th amendment, this legal doctrine was implemented to “protect” the rights of African Americans. This meant African Americans were segregated by race, but “ostensibly ensured equal opportunity to all races”. This is where you’d see black water fountains, and white water fountains, or black Americans being forced to the back of the bus.

What problems did Hitler and the Nazi party claim to be able to solve?
rosijanka [135]

Prior to Hitler joining, the Nazi Party held extremely nationalist, racist and antisemitic views. After Hitler had joined the party, he expanded upon and marketed these ideas.

Hitler had a racist world view. He believed that people could be separated into a hierarchy of different races, where some races were superior and others were inferior. Hitler believed the German race to be the superior race, and called the German race ‘Aryan’.

Hitler and the Nazis considered Jews to be an inferior race of people, who set out to weaken other races and take over the world. Hitler believed that Jews were particularly destructive to the German ‘Aryan’ race, and did not have any place in Nazi Germany.

Hitler also wanted to rid Germany of the disabled, homosexuals, Roma and Sinti, and other minorities that did not fit in to his idea of an Aryan race. The Nazis labelled these groups ‘ a-social ’.

Hitler was an extreme nationalist , believing the German ‘Aryan’ race should dominate. His expansionist policies sought Lebensraum for the German people. Hitler wanted to create a generation of young Aryans who were physically fit and totally obedient through programmes such as Hitler Youth. He believed these policies would unite Germany and ensure it was the strongest nation on earth.
