When comparing the characters between Hernán Cortés and Francisco Pizarro, we did not find significant differences. Both were ambitious and were thirsting for conquests that made them rich, to give them prestige and to cover them with glory. They did not go to great lengths to put their ideas into practice. Even in the most adverse moments, they persisted with their rulers, always presenting advantages for the investments in the expeditions for the conquest of the peoples, on which they had news and especially after having personally seen the abundance of treasures in the cultures Aztec and Inca.
