Finding the area of a parallelogram uses the formula base * height. You can see that the base is 20 cm, and that the missing length is 6 cm. The area of the parallelogram is 160 cm², and the triangle (b*h/2), has an area of 37.8 cm². Add these up, and the total area of this shape is 197.8 cm².

(I see that your concentrating on the task at hand with those YT and fortnite tabs open)

The area of the parallelogram is "base times height," so its 20*8 which is 160.

To find the area of the triangle, we have to find the base which incorporates Pythagorean'd theorem.
100 - 64 = 36, sqrt 36 is 6. So the base of the triangle is 6, the height is 12.6, thus the area is 6.3 * 6, which is 37.8

Adding the two values up, we get 37.8 + 160 = 197.8

Answer:

Answer:

  • x → 4.24
  • y → 4.24

Step-by-step explanation:

» x and y can only be got through using trigonometric ratios:

{ \tt{ \sin( \theta)  =  \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse} }} \\  \\ { \tt{ \sin(45 \degree)  =  \frac{x}{6} }} \\  \\ { \tt{x = 6 \times  \sin(45 \degree) }} \\ { \tt{x = 4.24}}

{ \tt{ \cos( \theta)  =  \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse} }} \\  \\ { \tt{ \cos( 45  \degree)  =  \frac{y}{6} }} \\  \\ { \tt{y = 6 \times  \cos(45 \degree) }} \\ { \tt{y = 4.24}}

An equilateral triangle has a perimeter of 9x+6. What is the length o each side of the triangle?
zavuch27 [327]
If the length is X

X+X+X = 9X+6

3X=9X+6

-6X=6

X=-1

but because length can't be negative X=1

Answer:  D) reflection across y = -x

Explanation:

When we reflect over y = x, we basically swap x and y. So for instance, the point (3,1) becomes (1,3).

When reflecting over y = -x, we will do the same thing but we'll make each coordinate swap in sign from positive to negative (or vice versa). The rule for reflecting over y = -x is (x,y) \to (-y,-x)

So if we apply that rule to point A(3,1) then it becomes A ' (-1, -3).

Similarly, B(1,5) moves to B ' (-5, -1)

Finally, C(6,9) becomes C ' (-9, -6)
