English

Claims and support are related because claims are statements that are made by authors in relation to some subject matter that are backed up by "support" or evidence. Therefore, based upon these options, "An author will use support to back up a claim." This claim and support are what authors use to create arguments in writing to make a point and to express a perspective on a particular issue.

When previewing the following lines from Sonnet 18, how many sentences should readers plan to read fluently? So long as men can
jekas [21]
The reader should plan to read fluently only one line. The line "So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and gives life to thee." There is only one sentence there. The correct answer is B. It is the last two lines of the sonnet, but since there is only sentence, I believe the answer to be One.

Divide ₹2060 between three people X,Y and Z such that X gets three-fifth of what Y gets and the ratio of the share of Y to Z is
Montano1993 [528]

X = 360 Y360, Z 6:11 gets and the ratio of the share of Y to Z is 6:11.

y:z share is 6:11, X's ratio of the share will be 3/5 of 6.

so 6*(3/5)x + 6x + 11x =2060

18x/5 + 6x+11x=2060

18x+6x(5)+11x(5)/5=2060

18x+30x+55x=2060(5)

18x+30x+55x=10300

x=10300/103

x=100

now y share will be 6x=6*100=600

z share= 11x=11*100=1100

x share will be6*3/5 *x = 6*3*100/5 =360.

Ratios compare two numbers, usually by dividing them. If you are comparing one data point.

A 3:2 ratio can be written as 3:2, 3:2, or 3/2. Additionally, 3 and 2 can be quantities or measurements of anything: students, fruit, weight, height, speed, etc. A 3:2 ratio means that for every 3 of one, there are 2 of the other, for a total of 5.
