In the late 1400s, there was a considerable history that happened, the Native Americans welcomed the Europeans, and they were eager to know their motives on their lad. They introduced them to gold, silver, beans, potatoes, chocolate, and many other vegetables but most importantly, tobacco.

However, the Europeans intruded to the natives the things that would result in their doom, such as rice, farm animal’s guns, and different types of diseases. The natives had never come into contact with such conditions; they then killed a large number of people.

Directions: List
and describe three
types of people
that lived in
Ancient Greece.
vekshin1

Answer:

Aristocracy: these were the people at the top of Ancient Greek society. Depending on the region, they enjoyed political rights like the right to vote or to hold public office. They often served in the military, which they considered an honor, and owned businesses.

The Metis: this was the Middle Class. Lacking political rights in most cases, they could still own property, and were regarded as valuable members of society.

Slaves: Ancient Greece was a slaved-based society, and slaves were common, in some areas, the majority of the people. Slaves were property and had no rights whatsoever. However, they could obtain their freedom through merit or by purchasing it.

Polar bears obtain the majority of their annual nutrient reserves during the late winter. They hunt seals on the surface of sea
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

They will have to find alternate food sources.

Explanation:

I Had to find the graph on google, but the graph pretty much shows that the polar bears are struggling to hunt seals successfully because of different factors such as melting ice. Because of the ice melting, seals cannot stay on the surface of sea ice anymore, which means that seals are probably more scattered than before which makes it harder for polar bears to hunt. Because this is not likely to change anytime soon because of global warming, the most likely prediction regarding polar bears is that they will have to find alternate food sources in order not to become extinct.

At a DUI checkpoint, some cars are stopped at random; many others are not stopped. Using the terminology of psychological resear
Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

a) sample.

Explanation:

When we do research we usually work with populations or samples:

 • A population refers to all the elements that belong to a set of data.
 • A sample is a subset of said population. In other words, it refers to some elements that belong to the original set.

In this example, at a DUI checkpoint, some cars are stopped at random. We can see that ALL the cars that pass by the checkpoint would be considered the population (since they are all the elements of the set) and the ones that are stopped are SOME elements that belong to the original set, therefore, they can be considered a sample of all the cars that pass by the checkpoint.
