John J. O'Sullivan was an important American journalist, columnist and editor who used the term Manifest Destiny, talking about the annexation of Texas and Oregon to the United States of America.

In simple words, we could say that he used the term to refer to the expansion of the United States, saying that it was their mission to expand the territory, in order to expand Democracy.

D. the sinking of the British ocean liner, Lusitania.

When a German U-boat (submarine) sank the Lusitania in May, 1915, over 1,000 persons were killed, including more than 100 Americans. The passenger liner was targeted by the Germans because they suspected weapons were being shipped to Britain in the cargo hold of the ship.

As an example of American feeling after the Lusitania incident, consider the reaction of Gifford Pinchot. He had been the Chief of the US Forestry Service (from 1905 to 1910) , and was quoted in the New York Times in May, 1915, after he had just recently returned from Europe. He asserted that Americans on the Lusitania (along with other passengers) were killed because an autocratic military empire was trying to dominate nations that were self-governing. His characterization of German intentions would mirror how President Woodrow Wilson later called on the USA to enter the war to "make the world safe for democracy."

Which one was not term of the Versailles Treaty? Germany had to pay reparations. Germany's military was majorly downsized German
lawyer [7]
Germany had to join the league of nations.

Germany had to pay reparations, and in an attempt to pay them off, they mass produced money which lead to inflation and the German money becoming practically worthless.

Germany’s military was majorly downsized in order to prevent another war of arms from them.

Germany’s territories were given to other countries, causing its own territory to become smaller. This is a main reason for why the Germans were angered into causing WWII.

Which of the following situations could be found in a society before the Neolithic Revolution? A. A tribe decides to permanently
JulsSmile [24]
Before the Neolithic Revolution, people were generally nomads. This means that they moved around constantly in order to survive. There wasn't the technology or knowledge to be able to settle permanently in one place and sustain life. The most important aspects of the Neolithic Revolution was the ability to domestic animals and grow crops, create a long-term settlement, and, in doing these things, have leisure time to learn crafts, explore, and invent. The Neolithic Revolution allowed tribes to settle in a permanent location, people to learn crafts such as being an artist, and families to plant and harvest crops. Before this time, people hunted and roamed around, devoting all their time just to survival.

Answer: B. A family hunts for food in order to survive.
