A room is 20 feet long.If a couch that is 12 1/3 feet long is to be centered in the room how big of a table can be placed on wither side of the couch?

20-12 1/3=7 2/3 or 23/3.   so there is a total of 23/3 ft available.  We then take half of that for each side.  1/2 of 23/3= 1/2*23/3= 23/6
