3) A sweet sixteen can tend to be more simple while a quincenera is more formal like a wedding.

2) Both are mostly ( not all the time ) made for girls ( not trying to sound sexual to anybody this is in my opinion)

3) Both are event where the family comes together to celebrate this one person and how they get to see them become mature :)
