Rome was considered to be the most advanced civilization on Earth at its peak because at that time improvements in terms of sanitation, education and warfare were fast and vast. Also, there are many inventions where they pioneered and are still being used even up to these days.

Answer:

The reason why Rome was considered, and still is considered, to be the most advanced civilization of Earth when it was at its peak, is, that their systems of government, military control, economic, transportation, sanitation, among others, were the most developed in the world and they helped Rome maintain power over their provinces for centuries.

Explanation:

Rome has been acknowledged by history as probably the most powerful, advanced, and important empire in the world. The reason for this is, their influence, systems, and power, extended throughout most of the known continents, with the exception of the Americas and Australia. This was achieved through the advanced political and military power, as well as the advanced system of government that the Romans extended throughout their vast holdings and provinces. It was these systems which ensured that while Rome retained power and domination, their provinces would still thrive and be loyal to the Empire. For centuries, this held true, and Rome not only became the center of the world in ancient times, but socially, economically, politically and even linguistically, it became the most influentual power of all. THis was achieved because, aside from military power, Rome connected the world through a really advanced system of government, a system of transportation, communication and sanitation that allowed them to maintain their empire for a very long time.

Assessment
yuradex [85]

Explanation:

Archaeologists dig into ruins to find clues to what life was like in a past civilization. American historian Hiram Bingham had the luck to discover Machu Picchu in Peru, on July 24, 1911. As a result, he studied the Incas in more detail than others had done before. Probably the only thing better to understand the past than finding a bunch of artifacts and documents would be to travel back in time. That’s exactly what you will do for this assessment! Well, in your imagination you will. Imagine you could go back in time and live among one of these Mesoamerican groups: the Maya, the Aztec, or the Inca. You can choose only one, and you should think very carefully about your choice. Consider what life was like in each civilization and what roles people had in each society.

Which of congress’s powers is implied through the necessary and proper clause?
Allushta [10]

Answer:

The Necessary and Proper Clause - located in section 8, Article I of U.S. Constitution- relates to the power of Congress to negotiate treaties, as part of the need to create laws that contribute to the enforcement of other powers.

Explanation:

The options for this question are:

A. The power to declare war .

B. The power to restrict child labor.

C. The power to negotiate treaties .

D. The power to print money.

Necessary and Proper Clause gives congress the flexibility to exercise additional powers, considered implied powers, being the negotiation of treaties one of the powers directly related to the clause.

Treaty negotiation involves all international transactions and conventions that are made to achieve mutual benefit, in line with the interests of the nations involved, such as economic and security benefits.

The powers to declare war, restrict child labor and printing money are granted directly to the Congress by the Constitution, and are not related to Necessary and Proper Clause.

Why were small states such as New Jersey happy
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

It proved equal representation in one house of Congress

Explanation:

The Great Compromise created the House of Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives would have representation based by population which was good for large large states with lots of people. The Senate had equal representation from every state no matter the population. This helped the small states such as New Jersey. New Jersey was glad that there was a house of Congress that was based on equal representation.
