Women refusing to conform to gender norms.
lina2011 [118]
The Roaring Twenties

The Roaring Twenties was a time when young women fought against the traditional gender norms. These women (commonly referred to as flappers) would wear short dresses, smoke in public, drink alcohol, and dance in jazz clubs. These acts were all frowned upon for women to do at the time. While in the twenties these women were often viewed as immoral and dangerous, we have since come to recognize them as pioneers of women’s independence, as they pushed back against gender norms.

What theme does King address and how does that theme
vivado [14]

Answer:

The theme that King address to guide our principles as American citizens to this day is explained below in details.

Explanation:

In April 1963, King was imprisoned in Birmingham, Alabama, after he opposed a state court’s order and led a movement of black demonstrators without permission, prompting an Easter boycott of white-owned shops. A declaration printed in The Birmingham News, written by eight disciplined white preachers, scrutinized the march and other presentations.

This urged King to compose a lengthy answer, begun in the edges of the newspaper.
