The statement above is TRUE.
The United States and the Soviet Union had always been wary of each other. American did not favor the practice of communism that operated in Russia and also despised their leader Joseph Stalin who was a tyrant and he made terrible laws, which the people of his country have to abide with. The Russia on the other hand do not like Americans because America refuse to recognize them as part of the international community. Also, the Russian were bitter against Americans because they joined the World War ll late, thus coming to Russian aid at a late hour after many Russian soldiers had lost their lives. All these grievances developed into cold war between the two nations after the war.

The answer is true the Americans were trying to help Europe and the Russians saw this as them trying to expand their markets, which America was. The Americans and pretty much every other capitalist nation saw the Russians trying to spread communism and their influence which the Russians were. Wow....shocker

How were economic competition and imperialism causes of world war 1?
just olya [345]
Imperialism was one of the causes of World War 1. Imperialism means that two countries want to invade the same piece of land as one another. This will result in war because both countries will fight for who gets to take over the other country.
Economic competition was another cause because it was a rivalry of which countries had more profits.
Hope this helps.

GuDViN [60]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached or further references, we can comment on the following.

I think some of the challenges facing those restoring the Hagia Sophia church in Turkey are the following.

First, the budget needed to continually restorative the impressive building. Next, the qualified persons to do it. They need specialists in engineering and art to do the kind of conservation needed.

For a monumental structure like Haga Sophia, it is required to have a high budget to do permanent maintenance works as a preventive measure, as well as to correct the problems caused by the pass of time such as erosion, cracks in the walls, humidity.
