Hello, I think making that research will be very difficult. The main problem is the huge differences between a queen like Elizabeth I and a homecoming queen. Both differ in context and respond to distinct topics. Remember that depending on the level of research asked, justification is needed, your friend needs to prove why it is important to compare her court and Queen Elizabeth's. Maybe One way to solve the problem could be changing the focus of the investigation.  For example, changing the main theme from "Problems that queens have with their courts" (wich includes Queen Elizabeth I court and the school queen's one, making small difference between them) to something like "traces of British monarchy's courts in modern school homecoming courts". In that way a connection is stablished, altough the historic period to cover is still huge.

Answer: Surprisingly there is a pitfall in credibility, the homecoming queen court and Queen Elizabeth's court are very different, from different time periods and different objectives. Queen Elizabeth and her court had to rule over an entire kingdom after the rule of Queen Mary. The homecoming queen does not rule over anything, just uses her power to help her school. Justification is needed because the homecoming queen needs to prove why it is important to compare her court with Queen Elizabeth's court. The queen should change her topic to something that keeps a small difference between the two courts  , like the effects of British courts on homecoming courts.
