Richard Henry Lee, a delegate from Virgina, introduced a resolution to Congress in Philadelphia proclaiming independence from Britain; John Adams seconded the motion.
Lee’s resolution declared that the colonies had the right to be free and independent States;
That the actions were to be taken immediately for a total dissolution of bonds with the British Crown.
He feared that such a policy would be unpopular in the border states.
Father Coughlin used the radio to deliver racist screeds to the American people that were often very critical of the New Deal.
The radio was Coughlin's key to success and wide spread notoriety.
Since the agriculture improved on the countryside it means that the people in the town improved with better quality of produce.
