Since the angles of both triangles are equal. Then they are similar.

I'm not completely sure what you are asking, because your question did not make much sense, but the triangles are similar. The first triangle was doubled (or multiplied to a scale factor of 2) to get to the second triangle. So they are similar because one is twice as big as the other.

I hope this helped! If it didn't, please reply. If it did, please do not forget to mark it as the brainliest!

elixir [45]
Solve Step by Step:

1) Write the Equation: 31/2 = how many pine cones Jenna and Ellen found.
2) Solve 31/2= 15.5

So each girl found 15 and a half pine cones. Or one girl found 15 and the other found 16. If you want to have each girl find an even amount.

8. D: The longest sides of the quadrilaterals are 30 and 10. That is a 30 : 10 ratio, which simplifies to 3 : 1, or 3/1. It's not 1 : 3 because it is the ratio between the large (comes first) to the small (comes second) figure.

9. B: x corresponds to 26, and from the previous problem, we figured out that the sides of the larger figure are 3 times larger than the corresponding one on the smaller one. So x is 1/3 the length of 26, which is 26/3.
