Earthquakes can form anywhere in the world. Earthquakes happen in result of tectonic plates moving. For example, the ring of fire. The majority of the world's earthquakes happen on the ring of fire; It surrounds the pacific ocean. That's why you generally see on the news that there was an earthquake in Japan or an earthquake Alaska because those places are right on the rim of the tectonic plate (ring of fire)

What about drought and desertification
DochEvi [55]

Drought and desertification are closely related phenomena. Persisting over months or years, drought can affect large areas and may have serious environmental, social and economic impacts. While drought is a natural phenomenon, whose impacts can be exacerbated by human activities that are not adapted to the local climate, land degradation is the process of turning fertile land into less or non-productive land. In extreme cases in drylands this is called desertification. Land degradation and desertification are complex phenomena driven by un-adapted human activity in combination with land and climatic constraints. Inappropriate land use, such as monocultures, and unsustainable land management practices, such as deforestation, unsuitable agricultural practices and overexploitation of water resources), can cause land degradation that can be further aggravated by drought.

What is henan? How is it significant in the discussion of the one-child policy?
sammy [17]
<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2>

Henan, a region in Central China's Yellow River Valley, is generally perceived as where Chinese human progress started. There are 4 antiquated capitals inside its fringes. Luoyang, capital amid various traditions, is home to Baima Si (White Horse Temple).

In November 2013, after the Third Plenum of the eighteenth Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, China reported the choice to loosen up the one-kid arrangement. Under the new strategy, families could have two kids in the event that one parent, as opposed to the two guardians, was a single kid.
