Rudik [331]

The epidural anesthesia is a method of pain relief, which is used during the labor pain. It is a well known regional anesthesia. It works by acting as an analgesic, which means a substance that eases the pain, a complete anesthesia or loss of feeling does not occur in the case of epidural anesthesia. It blocks the nerve signals from the lower spinal segments. It is also known as spinal epidural anesthesia or lumbar epidural anesthesia.

Which stage of cellular respiration produces the most atp?
ankoles [38]

Answer:

Electron transport Chain (Oxidative phosphorylation)

Explanation:

Cellular respiration can be defined as the process that involves the breakdown of glucose molecules into CO2 and H2O to generate energy inform of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). Also, cellular respiration usually takes place in the cells of an organism by converting biochemical energy present nutrients into Adenosine Triphosphate. Furthermore, it takes place in three stages which includes: glycolysis, TCA cycle and Electron transport (Oxidative phosphorylation). Thus, oxidative phosphorylation is the final stage of aerobic cellular respiration that produces maximum ATPs.

A mistake in DNA replication, in which the wrong base is placed in the growing DNA strand, can have profound effects on the desc
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

DNA replication is the process in which the DNA is copied and it occurs during synthesis phase of the eukaryotic cell cycle. It begins with an enzyme breaking the bonds between complementary bases in DNA which exposes the bases inside the molecules so they can be read by another enzyme and used to build two new DNA strands with complementary bases.

Explanation:

The original strand is: TAGCGTT

                                      ATCGCAA

The Mutated strand is: TGGCGTT

                                       ATCGCAA

The replicated strand is: GAATCAC

                                           CTTAGTG

What does NADP+ want to carry outside of the thylakoids?
Rudiy27
In the light-dependent reactions, which take place at the thylakoid membrane, chlorophyll absorbs energy from sunlight and then converts it into chemical energy with the use of water. ... The lower energy form, NADP+, picks up a high energy electron and a proton and is converted to NADPH.

When an athlete eats more protein or amino acids than he or she needs, the extra amino acids are?
Rzqust [24]

When an athlete eats more protein or amino acids than he or she needs, the extra amino acids are either used in building the muscle tissues or are used in energy expenditure.

Proteins are the macromolecules composed of amino acid as polymers. Protein is an essential food component because it helps in the synthesis and repair of body parts, it help in growth and development, and also provides fuel to the body.

Muscle tissues are the ones responsible for the movement of the complete body. The tissues are rich in blood supply. They are of three categories: skeletal, cardiac and smooth. Any movement in body is possible only because of the contractions and relaxations of muscles.
