Which country comes closest to having a pluralist society

Geography
1 answer:
7nadin3 [17]4 years ago
7 0
In my opinion, Switzerland comes closer to having a pluralist society. As a federation, it has four national languages (German, French, Italian, and Romansh) that are equal in status, even though the majority of its citizens' native language is German, and Romash is spoken by only 0.6% of the population. Each of the 26 cantons has chosen one or more of them as official languages. The cantons have a very high level of autonomy and independence. So, the society is pluralist because the federal government recognizes the differences that exist among the population, and has engraved those differences in its constitution.

How does the placement of the continents inte 1 large supercontinent help to explain the distribution of the fossils
notka56 [123]

Answer: More Fossil Evidence. As well as linking Africa to South America, the distribution of fossils suggests that other continents were once contiguous with each other. This indicates that Glossopteris lived at a time when all of these continents were joined in a single super-continent, which geologists refer to as Pangaea.
