Both frontiers and cities are important in the American history. But they both have different contributions. The American frontier was established first. This was when Europeans first settled in America and tried to establish their ownership of lands and animals at the expense of the Native Indians under the guise of bringing civilization to them.

A city is defined as a large human settlement. Cities in American history were established when people moved from farms to cities in order to work in factories and fend for their families.

Both the American cities and American Frontier are bound together in the romantic history of United States.

The big cities of the first 13 colonies such as New York, Boston and Philly have played a huge role in the politicas, immigration, education and the American revoluntionary war itself.

The cities gave rise to innovation, crime, comics, movies, and everything in between.

On the other hand, The American Frontier was long associated with freedom, expansion, growth and the spirite of liberty.

The frontier gave rise to a rural folk culture that has had a huge impact on the music, food and traditions of numerous States.
