A memoir is a <em>group of memories written down</em>by an author in order to show public or private moments of their life. The sentence shown remembering the math exam and the consequences of procrastination is included to show the writer's reflection (option B). The reflection of the consequences of procrastinating is explained by the failing of the exam. If the author had studied he would not have failed, leaving him with a life lesson.
