Alcohol lowers inhibitions making a driver _____.

English

Hello!

The correct answer to this question is C: both.

Alcohol causes chemical changes in the brain which can make a person take more risks and become more aggressive. It can also cause people to feel more relaxed, leading some to partially believe that they are invincible.
Aggressive driving is always dangerous for the drunk driver as well as other people on the road. However, alcohol also makes the driver less defensive.
For example, if a drunk driver gets into an accident, he has a less defensive mindset due to the alcohol. This may make his muscles relax rather than tense, and could lead to more or less injuries (depending on the situation).

I hope this helps answer your question!
