Excerpt 1 is part of the conclusion of a speech.
Except 2 is part of the introduction of a speech.
Except 3 is part of the introduction of a speech.

Except 1 is part of the conclusion because it is talking about what the audience should do after they have heard about planting trees and the actual problem. In other words, it is talking about what we should do for a better future.
Except 2 is part of the introduction because it is someone who is introducing herself to the audience before starting her speech.
Except 3 is part of the introduction too, since the speaker decided to start talking about planting trees with a poem that is related to the topic.

The impacts that reading promotes on high school students are the promoters of a cognitive improvement of students, as it promotes the creation of ideas and perspectives in, which make students better understand the world around them and cause improvements in the lives of each one.
We must not forget that in order for these impacts to materialize in the students' lives, teachers must indicate well-written and structured works, as poorly written works would have the opposite effect and discourage the student from looking for more books.

Hmm well they're both important. the giver is the base of the story. Without him, Jonas wouldn't have been able to grow or mature in the ways he did. (By receiving memories Jonas learned about death, a subject nobody knew if in his community, he also learned about self sacrifice which you see at the end of the book when he tries his best for Gabriel and forgets about himself) without the giver there is no Jonas. There are no memories and there would be no story. You could also argue Jonas is more integral because without him there also wouldn't be a story. There wouldn't have been anyone to receive the memories and nobody would have released them like he had.
