Hello!

The answer is: The mass number of an atom is obtained by totaling the number of protons and neutrons.

Why?

The atomic mass can be calculated by the sum of the protons and neutron mass of an element.

We should not confuse the atomic mass with the relative atomic mass since the relative atomic mass of an element is the average mass of its particles/atoms compared to 1/12th the mass of a carbon-12 particle/atom.

Compared to the valley, the ridge is relatively wet and warm. Compared to the valley, the ridge has exactly the same weather. Co
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

Compared to the valley, the ridge is relatively wet and cool.

Explanation:

The ridge is relatively wet and cool in comparison with the valley. Due to the mountains that surround the valley, the cool air does not enter the valley. This makes the valley hotter in contrast with the ridge. Also, it makes the ridge wet owing to the pressure and the low temperature that the air has.

Astronomers use various tools to gather evidence in support of the Big Bang Theory.
Scorpion4ik [409]

The two tools used are:

 • A relationship existence between a galaxy's distance from Earth and also that of its speed.
 • The findings in the 1960s of the presence of cosmic microwave background radiation.

What evidence is collected by each tool?

The evidence to support the big bang are:

 • There was found to be some red shifts of a lot of galaxies which connote that the universe is widening.
 • Due to the widening of universe, new elements were formed such as hydrogen, deuterium and others.
 • Microwaves were found by orbiting detectors.

Therefore, The two tools used are:

 • A relationship existence between a galaxy's distance from Earth and also that of its speed.
 • The findings in the 1960s of the presence of cosmic microwave background radiation.
