These series of attacks on Vietnam are called the Tet Offensive.

Let's take a look at each answer individually.

The Fall of Saigon - this was specifically one place in the South, so it couldn't have been a series of attacks throughout the country. Here's a fact: the Fall of Saigon was what led Vietnam to fall under communist rule since Saigon was considered the capital and main point for the South (which the U.S. helped).

The My Lai massacre was also another single attack made on My Lai (in the middle of Vietnam). Again, this was specifically one attack on one village, so it wasn't a major scale attack, but it was a major discussion point and an important historical event for the Vietnamese.

Let's talk about the Battle of Da Nang now - again, this was one battle, it wasn't a series of battles across the country, therefore it isn't the answer. This battle was fought in the middle of the country (in Vietnam) for the main control of fronts and the main cities - Hue and Da Nang, often considered MSRs to some military experts.

Finally, on the Tet Offensive - this was basically a "push" to capture major points and included several attacks on the South's main control points. This ended with the U.S. pulling back to avoid war and further criticism from the American people, and southern Vietnam losing the country to the communists.

The 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote everywhere in the United States. It was passed by a majority of both Houses of C
Maslowich

Answer:

Explanation:

The example you used is a perfect example. As conditions changed, new amendments had to be added to reflect the needed changes. Here are some of the amendments added.

13

14

All have to do with the colored getting the vote. The founding fathers knew that these amendments were necessary but they could not bring them about. It took a bloody civil war 85 years later to get it right with the amendments listed above.

19 is for women's right to vote.

Prohibition (forbidding drinking) is the 18th amendment. People wanted to try the experiment of prohibiting the sale and interstate transportation of alcohol. The experiment didn't work and the 21 st amendment repealed prohibition.

The 22nd amendment limits the president's term in office to 2 terms.

I've given you a slew of amendments because the writers of the constitution had no idea in the world that so much change would become needed. Conditions change needs.

Development resulting from the ending of colonial relationships
Kisachek [45]

When the French and Indian War finally ended in 1763, no British subject on either side of the Atlantic could have foreseen the coming conflicts between the parent country and its North American colonies. Even so, the seeds of these conflicts were planted during, and as a result of, this war. Keep in mind that the French and Indian War (known in Europe as the Seven Years' War) was a global conflict. Even though Great Britain defeated France and its allies, the victory came at great cost. In January 1763, Great Britain's national debt was more than 122 million pounds [the British monetary unit], an enormous sum for the time. Interest on the debt was more than 4.4 million pounds a year. Figuring out how to pay the interest alone absorbed the attention of the King and his ministers.
