Imagine that you were one of the Little Rock Nine students. How would you feel in that situation?
ser-zykov [4K]

Hi there!

If I was in that situation. I'd feel very threatened and scared for my life considering the fact that the 2 different colored people always had rivalry, but I'd have to be brave and subside the worst of the worst and look forward to whats to come for a brighter future. Sure, theres going to be a lot of chaos before the better, but I guess thats how people get over the differences. Considering all the chaotic choices and decisions you can't help, but feel like an outcast. So, its sometimes best to watch out for your back in case for anything that says the word "wrong" is going to happen.

I hope this is good enough

why did hamilton believe that paying off the states wartime debts was important for the future of the nation
Genrish500 [490]

Today, the national debt that Hamilton began with a bank loan of $19,608.81 is the largest single entry on any set of books in the world. The federal government pays $19,608.81 in interest on its current debt every 2.4 seconds.

What would Hamilton think of his creation today? He would surely be impressed with its sheer size, although he would note that relative to the American GDP, about $14 trillion, it is "not excessive." But he would, I suspect, not be happy with what borrowed money is being used for. Hamilton saw the debt as a powerful means of fighting wars, building infrastructure, and getting through economic bad times. For the last 30 years and more, however, the national debt has been increasingly used so that no one in Washington ever has to say no to anyone.
