- Since the trojan war took place in circa 2500 BCE, the war had a series of weapons only in tact with the age of the time. When Achilles had abandoned the greeks after agmemnon took away his one true love, the greek army failed for years. Immediatly upon Achilles return, the greeks became the winning power again.
