A person's physical appearance plays an important role in revealing their set of values and their attitudes towards others.

Explanation:

Not only just women but men also tend to their physical appearances. People dress well to present themselves well in the society. People think that the way they will appear people will treat them accordingly. For instance, a person who is dressed formally will be treated and served first in any place rather than a person with ragged or dirty clothes.

But, on the contrary, people belonging to high class dress very modestly rather than being a show-offs. Women, for example, will carry a light make-up, and sober dress, with classy jewelries rather than being too gaudy.
