In 1854, the Kansas-Nebraska Act was passed. This law allowed both of these territories to become states. However, before officially becoming a state, the federal government gave them the option to vote on whether Kansas/Nebraska would be a free or slave state. This is what causes "Bleeding Kansas."

Thousands of individuals vote, with the initial results showing that Kansas would be a slave state. However, individuals against slavery, cried foul as citizens from Missouri (a slave state) came over the border and illegally voted in the election. The people who did not want slavery refused to settle on this issue and violence broke out all over Kansas. This fighting between people who did and did not want slavery caused extreme violence and death. This is why it is called "Bleeding Kansas."

the growth and evolution of the world became possible due to factors of colonialism and imperialism? the answer is needed.
Bumek [7]

Answer:

The growth and evolution of the world took place, in large part, due to colonization and imperialism deployed between the 1400s and 1900s by the European nations. This was so because these nations, through their expansion and domination of territories throughout the planet, transmitted certain technologies, ideologies and knowledge that allowed the development of new nations and populations in these colonial territories.

Thus, for example, British colonization allowed the emergence of economically and politically powerful nations such as Australia, Canada or the United States, nations that inherited the development established by Great Britain and that consolidated in the modern world as benchmarks of civic well-being and economic stability.

In the past we have always had a deep attachment for the ways of China and all of our institutions have been modeled upon those
Anarel [89]

The cultural borrowing is defined as an “imitation” of actions or habits between two or more social groups through contact, or information exposure.

In this passage of Wang Kŏn, we can appreciate his opinion about the national identity. Over the years, Corea was under the influence of countries such as China that is why it was customary to follow its models as a reference in many fields (economic, institutional, political, etc.).  Then arose the Wang' statement, who said this behavior was illogical because their situation was very different, his nation has other factors such as geographical location and type of population that make unjustified to pretend to do the same as other cultures.
